Class Details

COST: $80 per class - Class duration 3hr, price includes fabric and notions required for class

SKILL LEVEL: Confident Beginners
This project is aimed at children 8yrs+ who are confident beginner sewers (who are comfortable with using a sewing machine).
More confident sewers are also most welcome to attend.

CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Come and join us during the school holidays to make yourself a frilly Book Bag
All good books deserve a great book bag!
This bag is a super fun make, with a front pocket, cotton tape straps and wee gathered frills down each side of the front, finished off with a platsic snap to keep things secure.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

• How to select the fabric’s you need for your project

• Attaching the pocket

• Gathering and attaching the gather

• Attaching the straps

• Sewing the bag together and finishing edges

• Attaching a plastic snap

WHATS INCLUDED:

• A selection of fabric's to pick from

• All trims and threads

• Use of sewing machines

• Use of tools & equipment

• Snacks and cold drinks to keep the energy levels up
